I'm alive, I know I say that alot, and I know I haven't put up more art. But trust me, I'm workin'. Not as much as I'd like to be, but I'm still working.
I've completed an(AWFUL)illustration for a friend, pencils for a fan comic, a small illustration, and had tons of other comic and illustration ideas. But, I've realized as I've pushed doing these last few projects that even though my heart and soul is into what I'm doing, my skill isn't up to par with how I need to be. So after I finish these listed projects, I'm going to put myself on a little hiatus. I'm going to try to practice DRAWING instead of ILLUSTRATING, work on pushing my limits, improving my skills, and learn to draw things hard for me, like animals and robots. When I'm not drawing, going to martial arts, or goofing off with mom/dad/friends/ect., I'm going to FINISH TWILIGHT PRINCESS!! Since the few snippets I've played into are awesome and I don't want to be wondering whats going on when I start back to school. >X
Herp Derp...SOOOOO~ who's looking forward to summer session? I'm a little excited and a little flabbergasted that its so close to the end of summer, that school and pressure will mount again a week after school. Its so awful...
But thats life? Hrn...
also, my computer keeps getting viruses. Seriosly, compy, grow an immune system! Haa~h...my grandmaster's husband is fixing it as we speak, though it sounds like he's just deleting all my programs because even though he's got Mcafee on there, it still hasn't fixed the initial problem that sent it to him in the first place. So he feels there is a virus hidden in my program files :/ man...Now I lose flash and dreamweaver and stuff...
That's life too....
OOH ALSO! Last airbender wasn't as huge a disapointer as I thought it would be, but it didn't impress me either. I guess its because I knew it was going to suck, just not to the degree I thought it would. The characters were basically the same, just watered down versions of themselves. There was NO humor in it. Except for the beginning parts. Because you could see the wrinkle in the curtain behind the 'opening' and that was funny, and Sokka- SORRY I mean soooo-ka, was 'eatten' by appa. The pacing was the worst part. They were slow fight scenes, fast dialogue, and awful bending. They'd wiggle their hands around and ten minutes later, their element would appear. GAWD the worst part in the entire movie, the part where I really lost hope in it ever getting good, was when the earth nation town was under siege by the firebenders, and the earthbenders didn't just whip out a bunch of slabs of rock, or squish them, or mold them, or anything. They got about 12 of them in formation, marched/danced/chanted for a good 5 seconds, then 10 seconds later, a small boulder meandered over to some fire nation soldier and blew him back 10 feet. It was so awful.
AND NO KOI-ZILLA!!!
